Don't Let Birds Eat Your Grapes. Installing Bird Netting for a Home Vineyard.

As a grape vineyard enters veraison, protection from bird damage becomes extremely important.  This is especially important on smaller vineyards where there are less total berries in the neighborhood for the birds to eat.  When grapes turn from green to purple, they become more visible to birds, causing them to be more likely to get eaten or broken by the little beaks.  The method of bird protection that I am using is fruit zone netting from Plantra.  This method of vineyard bird protection is extremely easy to install and very effective.  Don't let your grapes get eaten by birds this year!
