Fire Alarm At Victoria Shopping Centre - Southend On Sea

I was only popping in to use the loo then the fire alarm suddenly went off. About a minuet later an emergency announcement was made however there was not a operation to evacuate the building along with shutting off all the escalators and lifts. Then I saw two teenagers sprinting up one of the escalators giggling. I then saw a security guard chasing them while saying ‘I found the two guys who pulled the alarm’ I showed the security guard the video I’ve got of the teenagers and he sent me (and my friend Rob) to the centre management to collet evidence.

I overheard the management and they were saying that they were doing a alarm test but the teens have destroyed five call points which made resetting the system near impossible, when they tried to mute the sounders however they automatically came back on. The system was finally rested after about  half a hour however the sounders in the Peacock shop wouldn’t mute and the lifts and escalators wouldn’t start.

Please note that I didn’t set the alarm off, I was a witness with a clear picture of the teens. And I don’t really know about fire alarm systems so don’t bother asking me questions.
