Minami is a small fishing town on Shikoku, the smallest of Japan's four main islands. I learned a lot from my time there: what an ocean nostril looks like, what makes a delicious meal (pretty much everything from the sea), and the secret to living a meaningful life. Thank you to Tokushima no Migishita for sharing this experience with me: shikokunomigishita.jp/en/ Thank you to Tom Miyagawa Coulton for the photography and thumbnail photo. www.instagram.com/teacosyjapan Who are we? We are Slowsteading, a formerly homesteading family of four embarking on a journey to explore alternative ways of living. We are challenging conventions about what a family needs to thrive, exploring ideas of minimalism, slow living, and location independence. What was it like to travel across the world with our two young kids?    • We left North America (indefinitely)   Tour our 480sq ft Japanese apartment:    • What it's like as a foreign family in...   My filming and camera setup: Camera: amzn.to/3koDtjp Lens: amzn.to/3GOF89n Drone: amzn.to/3iOivtS Where I get my music: share.epidemicsound.com/3l66im
