Plekhanov Russian University of Economics

Plekhanov Russian University of Economics was founded in 1907. During more than 100 year period university was always was tightly connected with national economics: development of commerce and technology of food production in the beginning of XX century, then- the establishment of merchandising, the growth of the cooperative movement, creation of state economic statistics and systems of planning, economic reforms of 1965-1970 years, macroeconomics and industry research in 1980s, assistance to formation of market structures in 1990s.
Currently at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics education is carried out across the spectrum of educational programs: from secondary education to preparation of graduate and doctoral students.
