Workloads in Azure Virtual Network can easily connect and communicate with each other if they are in the same subnet or in different subnets of the same virtual network and this communication happens over Microsoft’s network backbone. What if these workloads are in different virtual network all together? To add to this, they may or may not be in the same region adding more complexity. Well for that, Azure provides us with the option of  virtual network peering, which enables you to seamlessly connect two or more Virtual Networks in Azure. In this session of the series, we will try to learn about Virtual Network Peering and in the next session, we will learn about  Network Virtual Appliances, and User Defined Routes and how are they useful in the hub and spoke network scenario.
