The Story Of How Michael Irvin STABBED A Teammate With Scissors & Covered It Up

In the 1998 offseason after coming off a losing season, the Dallas Cowboys went to training camp looking to turn things around. That's when during team haircuts an altercation broke out between Michael Irvin and Everett McIver that resulted in the receiver attacking his teammate with a pair of scissors. The incident would eventually be covered up by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and would later be named Scissorgate in NFL lore.
