Thela fortress
An ancient fortress and an ancient historical landmark, located on the outskirts of Amran Governorate, northwest of the capital, Sana'a.
The castle contains a number of archaeological monuments that still bear witness to the strength and greatness of the ancient Yemeni man and his wisdom.
The castle contains a number of buildings and wide ponds, which are considered an architectural masterpiece with complex storage and drainage systems. It also contains a large number of caves excavated in the mountain, some of which date back to the Stone Age and continued to be excavated, inhabited and improved with the passage of time until today.
