Melissa's Back & I'm Starting The Springers On Straw, Can't Beat it!

Melissa is back today to tidy up one of the annual jobs before calving which is the cows lepto jab, I'm also giving them some copper this year too.
Dad always reckons after this jab you always get a couple abort their calves so we leave it as late as possible.
I'm also starting to feed out straw to the calving cows and getting them used to it.
I love feeding straw or hay to the springers, I've found they are farm more content and we don't have near as many calving issues like milk fever.
