The year was 2008. I
The year was 2008. I was 6 years old. Every Saturday morning was a ritual, I woke up, dressed up in my Spider-Man costume, and danced to that song, that damned song.
Spectacular Spider-Man is one of the greatest interpretations of Spider-Man. It has great action, great humor, and great animation but most importantly, you can tell the people working on it tried their most damn to provide us with the best Spider-Man TV Show they could muster. And it many ways, they succeeded at that. The show goes all out. It was grandiose yet contained. It was small but felt huge.
The show was canceled only after a year, and it consisted of 26 episodes.
But these 26 episodes were full of NON-STOP WEB PUMPING WALL CRAWLER ACTION!
Spectacular Spider-Man isn't just great, or amazing, or hell even sensational.
It's
BASICALLY PERFECT
