As promised, here's a quick sound test comparison between the Samsung's cheap 3.5mm headphones and the USB-C AKG version which costs a bit more but still very affordable and in my opinion, offers fantastic value. The 3.5mm still sound great and are a good option if you don't have a USB type C connector on your phone. You can listen yourself here but my findings are that the USB-C variant does indeed offer better sound quality, way more detailed high end and also improvement in the bass extension. Just make sure you're purchasing them from big, trusted stores because there's a lot of fakes out there that doesn't even come close to originals sound and build quality.
