Hazrat Shah Makhdoom Rahmatullah Alaihi was the eldest son of Hazrat Abdul Qader Jilani Radiyallahu Ta'ala Anhur Mazar Sharif in Rajshahi district, his name was Abdul Quddus, who came to the country in 685 A.H. for the purpose of spreading Islam. Rampur Boalia now known as Yaga Pade was earlier called Mahakalgarh Information Rampura was the main place of pilgrimage for religious people at that time. At this dargapara in Rajshahi, live people were sacrificed, some were forcibly captured and some were sacrificed voluntarily. At that time two Dargaparas were given to them. People believed them to be incarnations of God. Some Muslims in the area of Dervish actually caught some of them and sacrificed them alive. When the news reached Pir Dastgir, they were sent to preach this religion. Torkan sha  killed Bahu Deo devotee with his hand stick but even after a hundred attempts Tor Kansat could not be moved until finally he was martyred at that place in 677. On hearing the news of Rampur being a Boyaliya, Hazrat Shah Makhdum Rahmat Ullah came here with the intention of destroying the Qul. He came to the city and arrived at the Bahana place of Charghat Thana and established a fort on the banks of the Padma river, which is known as the place. He raided Makhdum Nagar built by him and conquered Mahakalgarh Deo kingdom. And by his spiritual power he destroys the magic cistern. From here he conducted the campaign against Deoraja and established Islam in Rajshahi Dargah Para.
