2020 Nissan Note e-POWER Review @carsales

As part of our Made in Japan series, we couldn’t go past a test drive of the Nissan Note e-POWER, a curious little hybrid that Nissan wants to bring to Australia as the hybrid game finally captures the imagination of car buyers.

With most Japanese car-makers scrambling to meet the new-found demand, Nissan is pondering more export markets for its Note e-POWER series hybrid, an inexpensive car that has been selling its socks off in Japan.

Making use of a small petrol engine that acts as a generator for its lithium battery – but has no connection with the driving wheels – the Nissan Note e-POWER is propelled exclusively by its electric motor. It's may not be as green as the LEAF EV, but it has a range of more than 1000km per fill.
