We tested the top speed of the new 2020 Mercedes EQC 400. On paper this electric SUV got a top speed of 180 kmh. We reached 186 on the speedometer.

The Mercedes EQC 400 is an electric car the came to market in October 2019. The car is powered by two electric motors (one on the front axle, one on the rear axle) that deliver together a power output of 408 hp and 760 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 kmh acceleration takes just 5,1 seconds.
Thanks to a 85 kWh battery pack, the EQC 400 got a realistic range of about 300 km.
Thanks to its 110 kW CCS fast charging technology, this car can charge its batterij from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. At home (household socket: 10A/2,3kW), a 10% to 100% charge takes about 35 hours.
