In this video, we will show how to install the OEM Genuine Toyota Towing Hitch in the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Toyota RAV4.
We have previously installed the aftermarket Curt Hitch (Toyota RAV4 (2019-2024): How To Insta...) but decided to go for the OEM part instead.
The genuine Toyota hitch was specifically designed for the vehicle. It has 8 chassis attachment bolts as opposed to 4 with aftermarket hitches which divides the load on the vehicle frame more evenly.
The installation is bolt-on but you will need to remove the rear bumper and cut out a hole for the hitch in the bumper. All this will be shown in the video.
