STEFAN SALVATORE DESERVED BETTER. CAROLINE FORBES SALVATORE DESERVED BETTER. STEROLINE DESERVED BETTER!!!!
For years I have been in this fandom. For years I have watched these characters grow and change, just as I have grown and changed with them. It’s been one hell of a ride with lots of ups and downs. I’ve literally been beyond happy sometimes with certain moments on this show but I’ve also been totally crushed at others. And Friday this journey finally came to an end and I have SO many mixed emotions about it.
First things first… these two clearly deserved better. I have nothing against K*aroline – never had tbh – but they way they threw in Klaus letter at the end of this episode was just so dirty. For the last 3 seasons they have written Steroline as if they would be forever and eternal… But then they had to go make Stefan human and ruin everything. Like why? I mean in that moment we knew they could never have forever… and that broke me. But I thought, at least they would have 80 something years… but no ofc not… apparently separating them SOMEDAY wasn’t enough. Of course he had to sacrifice himself for Damon yet again – as if he hasn’t sacrificed himself enough in this stupid show. I get that tvd ultimately is about the brothers, but honestly no one had to die! I’m so pissed. Okay enough ranting
Secondly, the steroline goodbye scene was beautiful, but what really broke me was the phone-call that Caroline made. It was heartbreaking and I loved the ”I will love you forever”. I also loved that stefan’s last words was about how he will love her forever as well. In my head these two will always be endgame, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
Thank you Paul and Candice for giving us Steroline. And thank you to the Steroline fam for being my biggest supporters and loving my steroline videos. The journey would’ve not been the same without you all. This one is for you guys. I also would like to say a special thank you to Kinsey for watching my preview and being a true angel.
Ultimetly I’d like to dedicate this video to Chloé one of the most adorable human beings i know. You’ve been such a good friend to me from the moment we met in Manchester and I’m so thankful that you came into my life because you are a real life angel ♥

These two were also voted as number 2 on my top 6 ship project. I’m so happy I have so many subs that love them bc I will probably continue editing them for a long while.

As for the rest of the tvd finale; it was good but not great. I had a lot of expectations and it really didn’t live up to any of them. I think what bothered me the most was Nina and Ian’s acting - especially when they had scenes together. Nina’s acting was not the best neither as Katherine or as Elena tbh but that last shot with Delena walking down the street was Ian’s worse acting on this entire show ugh. That half-ass smile was so bad I cringed.
BUT I’m gonna try and make a DE video anwyays, bc i need to get some kinda closure for this ship as well. I’m not feeling too inspired right now though so it might take a while ugh.
Anyways, please enjoy this tribute to a really amazing and special pairing on tv. A relationship founded in so much trust and friendship and genuine pure love. I will miss them greatly.
