God allows evil for only one thing, to bring a greater good out of it. I will give you perfect advice as to how to advance in wisdom on this point. You take a crucifix, I always have one, you take the crucifix and you look at it for the rest of your life, you meditate on it, you think about it and you look at what you see there, you see Jesus. Perfectly innocent, Son of God, suffering and dying. Why did God the Father allow such an evil? To bring the greater good of Redemption out of it. God allows us to suffer and die only to bring the greater good out of it. What's the greater good? Happiness in heaven for all eternity.
