The company is proud to announce the successful testing and installation of CONTRALTO®, its cutting-edge anti-torpedo reaction module, on two Jose Rizal-class frigates. This development is part of the ongoing modernization efforts aimed at enhancing the Philippine Navy's fleet.
The CONTRALTO® system is a remarkable addition to the frigates, as it plays a crucial role in safeguarding these vessels against torpedo attacks. When an attack is detected, CONTRALTO® works in tandem with the frigate's systems to swiftly compute the most appropriate maneuver and deployment of defense mechanisms. This means that the Naval Group's advanced technology will be integrated seamlessly with the frigates' existing all-around defense, including the C-Guard decoy system.
