1953 original Chevrolet Double Cab Bickle-Seagrave Fire Truck

This is an original Chevrolet Bickle-Seagrave Fire truck with 18,000 original miles has been painstakingly restored as it rolled off the assembly line.  Bickle-Seagrave Fire Trucks have a  long history starting in 1915 and in which they built their first fire truck. In 1936, the company entered into a partnership with W.E. Seagrave Fire Apparatus Company, becoming Seagrave's sole distributor in Canada. Bickle changed its name to Bickle-Seagrave and built trucks on custom and commercial chassis until it went out of business in 1956.
