Little India Singapore Riot - 1 week later
One week has passed and several measures were put in place to prevent a repeat of last week's riot.

As a result, except for the areas near Mustafa Centre, Lembu Road & Serangoon Plaza, the streets of Little India looked quite empty. Absent were the tens of thousands of Indian and Bangladeshi foreign workers who congregate here. Businesses that depend on them are affected.  Little India does not feel the same any more.
