6 tbsp sugar

For Buns
3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
3/4 tbsp quick rise yeast
2 tbsp milk powder

For filling
2 tbsp vegetable shortening
3 tbsp onion
2 tbsp garlic
1 kg boneless chicken
3/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
anise seeds or star anise
1 tbsp pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups water

Slurry
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp cornstarch
