Solo hike over the Surenenpass

See what it's like to hike over the Surenenpass near Lucerne Switzerland. This is stage 7 of the Via Alpina (Altdorf to Engelberg), using cable cars on both sides to shorten the distance to 14 km.

This trail is 14 k • 1000m up, 660m down. I did it in 4.5 hours but suggested time 5.6-6 hours.

This is part of the long distance Via Alpina long distance trail.
