Service Marketing Mix refers to the strategies, processes, and actions used by an organization to encourage and promote its products and services among customers.

Service Marketing Mix includes mostly intangible services like hospitality, legal, healthcare, education, insurance, logistics, etc.

Service Marketing Mix- 7 Ps

7P’s-Product

Product refers to features and benefits provided to the customers. It is intangible and cannot be measured in terms of feel, look, etc.

Product [Hotel]

Core product – Rest, sleep

Basic product – Room, bathroom

Expected product – Fresh towel, clean bed

Potential product – Wi-Fi

Augmented product – Choosing a room

7P’s-Price

Price refers to the value at which the service is offered by the brand and the customer’s perception of that value

7P’s-Place

Place refers to the location where the service provider and the user conduct the service. A customer-friendly environment helps to enhance the offered services.

7P’s-Promotion

Promotion refers to the various communication channels like direct and online marketing and advertising that helps to promote the services amongst a larger audience.

7P’s-Promotion [Etihad Airways]

- Main partner of the football club Manchester City
- Sponsors stadium, jersey and the club stadium

7P’s-Promotion [Byju’s]

- Sponsors Indian Cricket Team till 2022
- The logo will be displayed on the player’s shirts
