INGREDIENTS

Bitter Gourd/Pavakka/Kakarakaya - 250 Grams
Lemon juice - 50 ml
Chilli Powder - 2 Tbsp
Salt - 1&3/4 Tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds Powder - 2 Tsp
Oil - 200 ml
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
Dried Chillies - 2 to 3
A Few Curry Leaves

Wash bitter gourd and cut them into thick circles.Heat oil in a wok. Deep fry bitter gourd pieces.Fry on medium flame till they turn light

brown. In the same pan, make tempering for the pickle. Heat the oil and add mustard seeds,dried chillies,cumin seeds,ginger garlic

paste and curry leaves fry. Turn off the stove and let the tempering cool. To previously fried bitter gourd, add chilli powder,salt and

mustard seed powder.Mix and add juice of lemon juice. Add prepared cold tempering and mix.
