Called “a towering, soul-baring tunesmith" by Billboard, magnetic newcomer Avery Anna is sharing her “punk country” (Rolling Stone) sound with the release of her debut album, Breakup Over Breakfast, via Warner Music Nashville. Avery wrote or co-wrote every song on the ambitious 17-track studio debut that showcases her ability to tap into and harness raw emotion, infusing it into a nuanced lyricism well beyond her 20 years that she couples with a dynamic, piano-forward sound. Produced by David Fanning (Megan Moroney, Parmalee), Breakup Over Breakfast is a debut album unlike any other: full of songs ranging from romance to rage, penned with a sacred honesty and sung with a soulful heart. Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify and YouTube have all named the talented Arizona native an Artist to Watch in the few short years since she began her music career. Avery’s 2022 debut EP, Mood Swings, served as a seven-song introduction that contributed to her nearly 500 million global streams, and features the viral hit, “Narcissist.” She performed the Platinum-certified smash on the 2023 CMT Music Awards, where she was nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, before making her morning TV debut on NBC’s TODAY.
