We took Vietnam’s best street food tour and boy did we eat our way through Saigon! (on motorbikes) XO TOURS is the first all female tour company featured in Forbes Top 9 best food tours in the world! We had Hang and Nhú with us and these lovely ladies were absolute rockstars! They were highly knowledgeable, funny and have become our friends! They took us to some amazing areas of Saigon, drove us with ease and introduced us to some really delectable foods we never thought we would try!
Here’s a list of food we had:
- Beef and pork noodle soup (Bún Bò Huế)
- BBQ Goat breast (Nhũ dê nướng)
- Grilled beef in five spices (Bò nướng ngũ vị)
- Grilled Shrimp with chili oil (Tôm nướng sa tế)
- Morning glory stir fried with garlic (Rau muống xào tỏi)
- Baked soft tofu in tin foil (Đậu hũ non nướng giấy bạc)
- Rice paper rolls (Bánh tráng cuốn)
- Roasted crab claws in chili salts (Càng ghẹ rang muối ớt)
- Grilled scallops in onion oil (Sò điệp nướng mỡ hành)
- Clams in lemongrass (Nghêu hấp sả)
- Dessert (custard flan)
- Tropical Fruits (Trái cây nhiệt đới)
