Ecuador's Most Active City BANOS! This city, which Heyon came to 5 years ago, is the most touristic and most active city in Ecuador. The name of the city means "Bath". When I first heard it, I wondered if it was because it was surrounded by mountains, because it looked like a toilet. I learned later that the city is covered with hot springs and waterfalls.
