Don't throw that broken mirror away! You can fix a broken mirror with mirror paint and some Lexan or Plexiglass! It's easy and straightforward. It took me about 30 minutes to fix this broken mirror.

This would be a great mirror painting idea for replacing a broken mirror on a closet door!
Before you begin, you'll need to locate someplace that sells plexiglass or lexan. Most hardware stores and some big box stores will carry it.
Next, you'll need to know the size you need, so measure the broken mirror you want to fix.
Then, find some Rustoleum Mirror Effect mirror paint! I bought mine at Home Depot, but I could have saved nearly $2 a can by ordering it through Amazon!
Follow directions on the Rustoleum Mirror Effect spray can. It says to layer it up to 5 coats. So if you're trying to fix a mirror that is on the large size, you may need 2 cans of mirror paint.
When applying the mirror paint, the instructions say to allow 1 minute between coats. Since it was cool the day I used the Rustoleum mirror paint, I let it set a few minutes between each coat.
