Meet Pineapple (longhaired cream Syrian
Meet Pineapple (longhaired cream Syrian hamster), the newest cute member of our family! I also made a basic/budget-friendly bin cage for him, with a floor space of 600-620 square inches.
Pineapple was ~7 weeks old in this video, he is bred by Lilliput Hams in the UK (Facebook: lilliputhams, a breeder, exhibitor & judge of Syrian & Dwarf hamsters since 1985, Chairman of the Midland Hamster Club and President of the Southern Hamster Club 🐹. He has been well handled from a very young age and I hope he could stay happy, friendly and healthy.
Friendly reminder: the spruce wood shaving that I used in this video is considered safe in the UK and Germany. It's also legally required for all wood shavings being sold in the UK and Germany to be kiln dried and dust extracted. If you live elsewhere, please do some research before using wood shavings for your little buddies😊.
I also recommend to add extra tissue bedding into the cage and adjust the amount of bedding based on room temperature, to provide your hamster with a safe and comfy living space 🐹
