Kavanaugh rejects classmate's 'belligerent' characterization of college years

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh refuted written statements from a former college roommate that he was belligerent while drinking, saying instead he spent his days at the library and playing on the basketball team. "I got into Yale Law School ... by busting my tail," Kavanaugh told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
