Performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Huddersfield Choral Society.
There are many people who don't have access to BBC content or BBC iPlayer, so I have uploaded this magnificent and beautifully moving medley because it deserves to be witnessed and heard by everyone around the world.
Lorne Balfe is a legend and a genius, and the themes he included into this medley are some of his most iconic pieces from the popular television series 'His Dark Materials'. He is able to evoke profound feelings and emotions with just one note from one instrument, let alone the entire orchestra, be it power, longing, love, or hope. I dare you not to feel or be moved by these themes...it is quite impossible, especially if you are a fan of 'His Dark Materials' or Lorne Balfe's music.
