This video is Richard Arsenault's original creation. The visual is heavily manipulated using multi-layered Animatte techniques on Avid so that it has a seamless and invisible loop. The audio is crafted from scratch and the result is 100% original. Enjoy!

The original 10 second clip that was used to create this was licensed from VideoBlocks. As the editor and creator, my challenge was to create a believable loop so the video could be extended to an hour. Problem was, the pine trees did not return to their first position at the end of the clip and each tree settled back at a different point -- that made simply adding dissolves impossible.
To solve this creative and technical problem, I used Avid Media Composer and created multiple "Animatte" regions hand drawn around the various moving trees. The subtle dissolves and soft edges move around the screen without people noticing and the final result is practically perfect (but a trained eye can see the video editing).
This sound effects are designed for relaxation and invigoration -- but the Stock Footage clip is silent. So, I layered numerous sounds together and subtly brought the sound to life.
