Saddle hunters use different methods to climb trees, but in all cases, need to have a secure anchor or tie-in-point (TIP) to the tree in order to ensure their safety.  Increasingly, climbers understand that rappel is the safest way down out of a tree, and this demonstration provides 6 options for secure, retrievable tether or rappel options.  This information is of use to stick climbers, (including one stick climbers), and general tree stand safety, even more than it is to rope climbers.
