No, FlightGear doesn't look like crap: What all the graphics options does

Because some people only test games for three seconds when writing a review, I have to explain what each of FlightGear's several graphics settings does. Here we go!

FlightGear is the free flight simulator under GNU GPL. It runs on Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat...) and even Mac! It also has multiplayer support, something a lot of simulators have dropped.
