NYMR - Launch of J27/P3 in LNER livery. J27 No 65894 repainted to P3 No 2392 for its 100th Birthday

The launch of J27 / P3 in LNER livery on the NYMR. Outshopped from North Road Works in Darlington by the LNER on 19th September 1923, to commemorate its centenary as P3 No 2392. It arrived in Pickering hauling a goods train, prior to its subsequent departure on the 10:55 service train to Grosmont.
