How to Play Maggie May by Rod Stewart on Guitar

"Maggie May" was co-written by Stewart with Martin Quittenton, released in 1971. Rolling Stone once ranked the song #131 on their list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Written from Stewart's own experience, Stewart recalled: "Maggie May was more or less a true story." Her name wasn't Maggie May. Stewart has stated that the name was taken from "...an old Liverpudlian song about a prostitute."  Oh, my.
The song was recorded in just two takes in one session.
