The all-new Honda WR-V 2023
The all-new Honda WR-V 2023 was officially unveiled in Thailand for the first time. All sub-models come standard with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 121 horsepower and the Honda SENSING safety system. Price from 799,000 to 869,000 baht.
The dimensions of the all-new Honda WR-V 2023 are 4060 mm in length, 1608 mm in height, and 1780 mm in width, making it longer, taller, and wider than its predecessors. The boot space is also slightly larger, measuring 380 litres. It also has a 2485 mm wheelbase and a 220 mm ground clearance.
In terms of aesthetics and design, the WR-V differs from its predecessor and has a more youthful, sportier appearance. The chrome-studded front grille is flanked on either side by LED headlights with integrated DRLs. The front bumper now has a new fog lamp housing with a black outline.
The fore and aft skid plates add to the WR-v SUV-like appearance. The WR-V rides on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, with split LED taillamps and a roof-mounted spoiler emphasising the vehicle's rear end.
Inside the cabin, the console is the same as the current BR-V. Decorated with black leather and fabric material. The 4.2-inch TFT driving information screen and the 7-inch middle screen support connecting smartphones and wireless communication.
The rear seats fold in a 60:40 split, and there is a Rear Seat Reminder to alert passengers in the back seats.
Both variants come standard with the Honda Sensing suite, which includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation System With Lane Departure Warning, Auto High-Beam, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lead Car Departure Notification System.
It is equipped with a front-wheel-drive CVT automatic transmission and a 1.5-liter petrol engine with i-VTEC variable valve timing system that produces 121 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The front suspension is an independent MacPherson strut, and the rear suspension is a Torsion Beam.
In Thailand, the WR-V is available in two variants: the SV (799,000 baht) and the range-topping RS (869,000 baht). Four monotone colours are available.
