Bodycam DUI Arrest - Drunk Woman Claims She Just Hit a Rock

On January 24, 2023, there was a report of a hit and run involving a small black colored sedan that just occurred in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Stow Police Officer Pajestka located a vehicle that matched that description. He made contact with the female driver, who claimed her car had existing damage from hitting a rock. Officers didn't believe her story and she was asked to step out of the vehicle to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). She was arrested for having physical control of a vehicle under the influence and was transported to the Stow police station. Cuyahoga Falls developed enough evidence to also charge her with hit-skip (as known as hit and run). She submitted to an evidential breath test (EBT) and the result was 0.179% BAC.
