Hello! (!) The video has subtitles with all terms. This video is about my positive experience with unlocking the Asus Eee PC battery. The battery did not charge, one pair of cells was dead - this pair had to be replaced. I used module # CP2112 and a DIY adapter to connect to the battery connector. I was inspired by the video on the Laptop battery repair channel, (Ремонт батареи ноутбука. Урок#1 Проши...), but I could not find the adapter, as in the video, and I made it from scrap materials. Unlocking was done with the demo version of the # Be2works software (http://ru.be2works.com/)
To fix the battery, I had to replace a pair of cells and reset the controller errors # bq20z45. In this video, I will show how to make an adapter for connecting the CP2112 to a laptop battery, how to work with battery cells and possible problems with fuse # 12AH3.

If the battery is very worn out, but the laptop is still running at least a little bit from the battery, then you can replace the cells with new ones without reprogramming. In this case, be sure to disconnect
(16V-) 12V - 8V - 4V - 0V, connect in the reverse order. But after replacing the cells, the battery capacity will not exceed the factory value - this data is recorded in the battery controller. If the laptop no longer charges the battery and does not work from it, then in addition to new cells, you need a CP2112 adapter and you need Be2works. If the battery is 4400mAh, then it is enough to buy cells with a capacity of at least 2200mAh on Ali. A 5200 battery requires at least 2600mAh cells. If you buy 3400mAh cells and write a new capacity in the controller, then the battery will become 6800mAh. You cannot take a 18650 with a protruding plus - they will not fit into the battery case, if there is no spot welding - take it with welded strips. After disconnecting - connecting the cans, you need to start the controller - you need to supply the appropriate power to the + and - of the battery connector.
Then you need to run the cycles: charge up to 100% - discharge up to 0% (discharge in BIOS or external load through the battery connector), if everything is OK, then the controller for each such cycle will increase the total charge capacity by about 5% per cycle until will rest against the real capacity of the installed cans or the passport capacity.
