Offloading is the process to add clips from device to the library and copy them onto one or several backup disks.

Silverstack offers all the features you need for backing up and tracking your movie data with check sum verified, high-speed backup to multiple destinations.

Once Silverstack is opened, attach the camera storage cards to your computer. Then click on the "Offload" button and choose the attached camera device. You can also import clips from internal or external hard drives.

Silverstack will scan the selected storage device and automatically detect the camera format.

The files will show up in the wizard. By default all files will be offloaded, but you can also register only some of them by checking the "Allow Partial Offload" box. Click continue and choose the destinations where the files will be copied. It's possible to copy to multiple destinations at a time. To start the copy, click on the "Backup clips" button.

The copy process will start. It can be reviewed in the "Jobs" panel. Progress bars show the status of the copy process. At the end every file is check sum verified in each destination.

A green bar at the end of the job means the copy and verification is successful. Now your clips will be available in Silverstack's library to start working with them.
