Flying Scotsman at speed on the GWR | The Cardiff Express - 07.06.23

Now well into her centenary year, the 100-year-old 60103 Flying Scotsman took charge of "The Cardiff Express" from Paddington to Cardiff Central via Didcot, Bristol Parkway and Newport.

Captured twice on her outward journey to the Welsh capital, Scotsman is firstly seen blasting through Twyford as she approaches her next pickup point at Reading. This is followed by Cholsey, where the locomotive powers up the gradient through the station at her near 75mph maximum permitted speed, lovely stuff!
