After the critically acclaimed album in tribute to Horace Silver - The Silver Messengers, released in 2019, Carmen Souza is back with a new collection of music entitled Interconnectedness.
Souza's 10th album - Interconnectedness - exposes the vulnerability brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and deals with personal loss, humanity and how we are all Interconnected.
Recorded between @thisissessions7364 - Carmen Souza & Theo Pascal's creative hub in Lisbon and their base in London includes sound innovation and recording experimentation that take the Duo sound into a new chapter.
Carmen says: 'this music is a result of everything that has happened to me in the past four years and the world in the past two years. The experience of loss has changed my perspective of life and consequently, changed me and my music."
After the difficult times the World experienced together, Gratitude is the feeling that mostly inspires Souza and Pascal while they prepare this music to morph into another LIVE SHOW.
