This video demonstrates the simulation of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) of TurtleBot3 in Gazebo (3D Robot Simulator) using Robot Operating System (ROS).

TurtleBot3 scans its environment using LIDAR and based upon this laser point cloud data, it generates a 2D map of the environment. The map is generated simultaneously as the robot moves through the environment, while localizing itself based on the relative pose of the objects with respect to itself, which is known as SLAM.
