Make this delicious NO-OVEN Caramel Custard with simple ingredients at home!😍✨

No Oven Caramel Custard Recipe:
For the Caramel:
Sugar - ¼ Cup
Water - 2 tbsp

Other Ingredients:
Milk - 1 Cup
Sugar - ¼ Cup
Eggs - 2 nos
Vanilla Essence (optional) - ¼ tsp
Oil - For Greasing

Cooking Instructions:

1. Grease a metal pan with oil and set aside.

2. For the caramel, heat the sugar and water together until it dissolves and turns into a deep golden color.

3. Transfer it to the greased pan. Swirl the pan so that the bottom is evenly coated. Set aside to let it solidify.

4. In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar. It should become hot but should not boil.

5. In another large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk a little at a time while whisking continuously. Optionally, you can add vanilla essence.

6. Strain the mixture through a fine strainer. Pour it on the solidified caramel.

7. Cover it with a lid or aluminum foil. Place it in a steamer or a pot with adequate water and a metal stand on the bottom.

8. Steam for 25 minutes on medium heat. Check if it is done by pressing it gently with your fingers. It should bounce back lightly.

9. Remove the pan from the steamer and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or for longer.

10. To serve, flip the custard pudding onto a plate.

Cooking Tips:

If you are baking it in an oven, place the covered pudding in a tray of water. Bake at 180°c for 40 minutes, in a preheated oven.
