For this recipe, I started with 2lbs of Golden King Crab Legs from Crowdcow (link posted below). The crab legs came pre split, which made it easy to take off the top half and put some seasoning directly on the meat.  

To season, I started with a cajun spritz consisting of
8oz water
1 Tbsp of hot sauce
1 Tbsp crab boil
Juice of 1 lemon

After spritzing, I used a  light layer of  cajun seasoning followed by a light layer of Heath Riles Simply Citrus BBQ Rub.

Once the grill reached 250 degrees the crab legs were placed on the grill, spaced apart to ensure good circulation in the pit. The crab legs were spritzed every 10-15 minutes in order to keep the legs moist and to maintain moisture in the cooking chamber.

While the crab legs were smoking, I made a basting butter using:
2/3 cup of clarified butter (regular butter works also)
1 Tbsp of honey
1 Tbsp of finely diced chives
1 clove of garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
After 30 minutes, I ladled some of the butter on each crab leg, making sure to get some of that good garlic and chive on top. After an additional 10 minutes, and a garnish of parsley, these crab legs were ready to eat!!!
