7.14.2024 Guilt, A False Motivator

When we think about “Forgiveness” we can’t help but connect it with some form of wrongdoing, either we have been wronged, or we have wronged someone. The Bible describes wrongdoing with words like sin, transgression, and iniquity- all of which mean something different, yet tell us much about our human behavior.
But whether we are remembering sins we committed before we embraced faith, or after embracing faith, we can struggle with massive guilt. Even though Scripture tells us that Jesus Christ has paid for our sins, it can be hard to forgive ourselves. What are we missing? Maybe the answer is hidden in plain sight!
