I picked up the Dobyns Sierra Ultra Finesse BFS Rod and wanted to show you my initial impressions. Make sure to subscribe and stay tuned for spring when I bend it on some bass! As many of you know, I have become a big fan of Bait Finesse System (BFS) this year. Any time I can use light line and gear, you know I will be a fan. I guess that is why I fell in love with it! This rod will fit into my arsenal quite well. I sold my old Shimano Sensilite with my Fishband GH100 to Dave, a member of Team Dink, so he can start fishing BFS as well. I believe it is going to be able to do exactly what I want it to do: cast Ned Rigs and other small bass baits in the 1/16-3/16oz range. It is super light so it will be very comfortable to fish with all day (especially paired with my Shimano Aldebaran 12 BFS XG). Crazy to me how it features 16 total guides...
