A few days ago Russia has criticized the US Indo-Pacific policy and the 4 countries strategic dialogue called the Quad and described it as worrying for Indian interests. Russia has said that this dialogue, called Quad, is a ploy of Western countries to involve India in anti-China activities. Russia says that the concept of the quad will promote isolation and divisive policies in the region and may also affect relations between Russia and India. Significantly, last month the navies of Australia, India, Japan and the United States conducted their largest naval exercises in the Indian Ocean by sending warships, submarines and aircraft, which is called the Malabar Naval Exercise. Analysts cited the practice as an indication of the seriousness of these four countries to counter China's military and political influence in the Indo-Pacific region. China, however, condemned the practice as a threat to regional stability and described the Quad as the "Asian version of NATO". कुछ दिनों पहले रूस ने अमेरिका की इंडो-पैसिफिक नीति और क्वाड कहलाने वाली 4 देशों की रणनीतिक वार्ता की आलोचना की है और इसे भारतीय हितों के लिए चिंताजनक बताया है । रूस ने कहा है कि क्वाड नामक यह वार्ता भारत को चीन विरोधी गतिविधियों में शामिल करने के लिए, पश्चिमी देशों की एक चाल है । रूस का कहना है, कि क्वाड की अवधारणा, क्षेत्र में अलगाव और विभाजनकारी नीतियों को बढ़ावा देगी और इससे रूस और भारत के संबंध भी प्रभावित हो सकते हैं । गौरतलब है कि बीते माह ऑस्ट्रेलिया, भारत, जापान और संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की नौसेनाओं ने युद्धपोत, सबमरीन और एयरक्राफ्ट भेज कर हिंद महासागर में अपने सबसे बड़े नौसैनिक अभ्यास आयोजित किए थे जिसे मालाबार नौसैनिक अभ्यास कहा जाता है । विश्लेषकों ने इस अभ्यास को इंडो-पेसिफिक क्षेत्र में चीन के सैन्य और राजनीतिक प्रभाव का मुकाबला करने के लिए इन चार देशों की गंभीरता का संकेत बताया । वहीं चीन ने इस अभ्यास को क्षेत्रीय स्थिरता के लिए खतरा बताते हुए इसकी निंदा की और क्वाड को “नाटो के एशियाई संस्करण” के रूप में वर्णित किया। दृष्टि आईएएस ने सिविल सेवा उम्मीदवारों को सर्वोत्तम सामग्री प्रदान करने के लिए एक पहल की है। ये जानकारियाँ आपको बिना किसी कोचिंग की सहायता के बेहतर समझ बनाने में मदद करेंगी । प्रतिष्ठित अंग्रेजी समाचार पत्र, मसलन- द हिन्दू के साथ-साथ टीम दृष्टि के इनपुट्स भी इस आर्टिकल में शामिल किए गए हैं।
