Three family members, including two children, drowned at a waterfall behind the Bhushi Dam in Lonavala on Sunday afternoon. Two other children from the family are still missing, according to police. The family from Hadapsar, Pune, was on a picnic in Lonavala. A rescue operation, involving Pune rural police, INS Shivaji, and Shivdurg Mitra Mandal members, led to the recovery of three bodies: Ameena Salman alias Adil Ansari (13), her sister Umera Salman alias Adil Ansari (8), and a woman, Shahista Liyakat Ansari (37).
