This is a simple yet nutritious dish that you can Make At Home.Sama, also known as Barnyard Millet/Sanwa Millet/Samak rice/Varai/Bhagar/Jungle rice, like other millets is high in protein. It is also rich in fiber.It is helpful in weight loss. It is high in calcium,and amino acids except lysine. Gluten free.
It is also Navratri Special recipe.
Ingredients :
Sama Rice – 300 gms.
Water – 500ml+700ml.
Oil – 30 ml.
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp.
Peanuts – 40 gms.
Chopped Almonds – 30 gms.
Halved Cashews – 30 gms.
Grated Ginger – 2 tsp.
Chopped Green Chillies – 2 tsps.
Peeled & chopped potatoes – 135 gms.
Rock salt(Sendha) – 1 & ½ tsp.
