Daf is one of the percussion instruments in Iranian music, which consists of a #wooden ring to which metal rings (usually in the order of 1-1-2) are hung and a thin skin made of plastic or leather and animal skin is stretched over the wooden ring, and it is Fingers and palms play. This instrument is one of the Iranian percussion instruments similar to the circle and bandir.

یکی از سازهای کوبه‌ای در موسیقی ایرانی است که شامل حلقه‌ای چوبی است که به آن حلقه‌های فلزی (معمول با ترتیب ۱-۱-۲) آویخته شده و پوست نازکی از جنس پلاستیک یا چرم و پوست حیوانات بر حلقهٔ چوبی کشیده‌اند و آن با ضربه‌های انگشت و کف دست می‌نوازند. این ساز از سازهای ضربی (کوبه‌ای) ایرانی شبیه به دایره و بندیر است
